Could you be the newest member of the team at Ferens Art Gallery? We are recruiting an Exhibitions Assistant who will work with the Curator of Art, Exhibitions and Event Assistant, and Community Curator to deliver an inclusive and inspiring programme of exhibitions and events. If you have experience of working with art collections, artists and of developing public programming, this role might be right for you.
As Exhibitions Assistant you will also support the Community Curator in administrating and delivering the Ferens’ popular annual Open Exhibition. With support you will take the lead, in organising and delivering the Young Artists Open Exhibition. You will also support the Curator of Art and Exhibitions and Events Officer to coordinate exhibitions, working with national partners such as the National Gallery, and the Future Ferens (young people aged 18-25) to coordinate loans, transport, GIS and insurance, where required.
This is a great opportunity for an aspiring Exhibitions Manager to gain experience while working with artists of all ages and national partners, contributing significantly to the public programming at the Ferens.
