Hull Culture and Leisure are looking for enthusiastic Leisure Assistants to work effectively in a team, to provide a safe environment through the supervision of all customers using the swimming pools and all other areas of the facility. To provide a high standard of cleanliness and customer care so that customers can partake and enjoy their appropriate activity or sport.
A current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is desirable for this post but training will be given. A pre requisite to pass a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is you must be able to swim 100m on your front and 100m on your back, descend to the deepest part of the pool and swim 50m in 60secs.
A swim test will be given as part of the interview process.
A degree of flexibility is required in this role as you will need to cover for holidays and absences.
We have various posts available at Ennerdale Leisure Centre, Albert Avenue Pools, Beverley Road Baths and Woodford Leisure Centre which include permanent, fixed term and casual positions.

Beverley Road Baths 20.75 Hours
Albert Avenue Pools 10 Hours
Albert Avenue Pools 12.5 Hours
Albert Avenue Pools 17 Hours
Albert Avenue Pools 13.75 Hours
Woodford Leisure Centre up to 37 Hours (Fixed term until end of June 25 MAT leave
