We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a number of Casual Assistant Aviary Rangers to work with the team at East Park Animal Education Centre and across Hull's Aviaries.
Duties will include: working with the aviary ranger team to provide the daily care needs for the animals in our collection, ensuring our high standards of animal husbandry and welfare are maintained; welcoming visitors, assisting with educational events and assisting with daily building cleaning and basic grounds maintenance tasks.
This is a physically demanding role and is mainly outdoors so the ability to work in all weathers is essential!
Whilst experience is not essential, a passion for conservation and working with animals is.
The post is a casual position, with hours as and when required, starting as soon as possible.
This post will require regular weekend and bank holiday working.
