Hull Culture and Leisure Ltd are seeking a Casual Sales and Customer Services Assistant for the Theatre and Halls service consisting of two of Hull’s premier venues - Hull City Hall and Hull New Theatre which host diverse world-class programmes of events for all within the region and further afield.
The role is to provide a quality customer focused and pro-active bookings, sales and customer information service.
Day to day tasks include processing sales of tickets & merchandise using appropriate computerised and manual systems, ensuring excellent customer service, alongside assisting in delivering sales and audience development plans and pro-active campaigns to maximise attendances, ticket sales, visitors and ensure commerciality is maximised through appropriate income streams.
We are looking for confident, friendly candidates with excellent communication skills, ideally with a background in sales or customer care. Keen interest in the arts and entertainment industry is desirable.
A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work unsocial hours including evenings and weekends is essential as evening and weekend work will be required on a regular basis
