Hull Culture and Leisure Ltd are seeking to recruit casual Venue Technicians for the Theatre and Halls service which consists of two of Hull’s premier venues - Hull City Hall and Hull New Theatre. The sites host a diverse programme including large scale touring theatrical productions and world class performers.
You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of production companies on a variety of performances using your skills to continue to build and develop with a team of technicians to deliver the highest standard of technical assistance to users of the venue.
The role is to work within the Technical team to facilitate and operate during a variety of shows at the New Theatre and City Hall. This will include programming and operation of lighting/sound desks, flying, AV operations, rigging, loading in, maintenance and stage work among other skills. You will also be responsible for delivering technical support for a variety of events.
Due to the nature of the entertainment industry a flexible approach to working hours is necessary including unsocial hours, evenings and weekends.
