To work collaboratively with the Finance Manager in the preparation and delivery of statutory returns, including taking a key role in the preparation of the financial statements, VAT and other statutory returns.

To work collaboratively with colleagues, in the provision of an efficient and cost-effective financial service across the full range of services. To inform the decision making of Operational Directors and Managers to enable them to drive income generation and achieve best value in the management of limited resources.

To advise and collaborate with colleagues from other services, taking a lead role in ledger management and coordination of the Finance system and to provide coordinated customer focused support to deliver the objectives and priorities of their service areas.

You will have a proven track record in a complex finance environment, with a Level 3 Finance related qualification or equivalent experience, and an in depth knowledge of financial systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Bringing the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and via various means, with organisational skills to manage conflicting demands, you will have an ability to work on project teams and experience of training non finance colleagues.
